Our Story

Our sense of smell is the most primitive of our senses. Embracing the power of scent can make your home feel welcoming and inviting, promoting relaxation and serenity or evoke a special memory. 

We have been making candles since early 2018, we pride ourselves on making clean burning, uniquely scented coconut soy candles and wax melts that are hand poured in small batches to ensure a perfect candle each time. 

You can feel good about burning our candles. We use Eco-friendly Coconut Soy wax, that is derived from American farmers soybeans, cotton and wooden wicks and we use phthalate fragrance oils. 

Our most frequently asked questions is "where did the name "Sugar" come from? Well I will tell you, my husband has been calling me Sugar since we were teenagers in high school. I even have it on my plate on my car. So that is how Sugars Wax N Wicks was born. Our signature candle is very personal to me because I love lilacs and purple is my favorite color. I hope you enjoy our candles as much as I enjoy making them.
